I have not seen this light work in person and I did see the video of it and liked it. but was not convinced .I had other light in mind that look like this one like the 3d version of this one, witch I did see in person and was not impressed. so I took a chance and bought it. My wife was saying u don`t need that now wait till u find the one u want. So I said no I want this one. When I received it I showed her and she said wow what a good investment. and its gotten very good reviews in all my gigs. I definitely recommend it to any one that likes to look good at there gigs likes

Chauvet DMX mega strobe III Dj lights Review

(More customer reviews)I own 8 Chauvet strobes. I love the blinder function that was on the original DMX Mega Strobe. The Megastrobe II was missing this so I was naturally excited when it was added back the the Megastrobe III. I bought 4 of these. The first one was DOA. The other 3 have been back to chauvet. 2 are about to go back again. The blinder function flickers sometimes. One flashes intermittently and the other wont flash at all. Its not a bulb problem either, I tried that. I will say Chauvet's service is much more helpful than ADJ's.
Save yourself the headache and go with an Elation Proton star or a used original DMX Mega Strobe. If you don't need the blinder function then maybe even the ADJ $85 strobe.

(More customer reviews)I ordered this light for a large dance event we were having. It was out in the country and i actualy mounted this product on a tree and aimed it down on the dancefloor. It worked perfectly. I love this product and i actualy have it mounted on my living room wall now. It is not a huge clunky light and is perfect for large events or just making your own party at home. I'm sure people driving up and down our street some nights wonder what is going on at our house when I turn it on crank up the music and me and my 4 yr old have our own dance party! It is great and has different settings. I like the setting that moves the lights to the sound of the music. I would recommend it to anyone who likes lighting as much as i do. If you are d.j. it is a great travel size light.

Instructions are poor...better off trying to figure out how to use the light from U-Tube videos. Some U-Tube videos are pretty good, and they provide great detail about the light and how it works. Front lens is made of thin plastic, which is representative how the rest of this light is made, cheap...I would not pay $299 for this light...If I didn't get this from Amazon at their special price of $172, I would be sending it back...

American DJ Enferno Fire Flame Effect Light Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this product directly from American DJ. Their shipping and customer service was very good. The product, however, did not look like the picture, but still gives the flame effect I needed for our fireplace display. The Silk Flame had to be shipped to me later because it was missing from the box. It would have been a great product if it worked right. It worked for what we needed, but it was frustrating because the lights would go out with the slightest nudge to the base. I will note that I did buy it at a DISCOUNTED price and the product was advertised as being "blemished." I called American DJ and they assured me it worked and the base was just dented. Maybe if I had bought it brand new it wouldn't have the same problems I had with it? Anyway, I gave it three stars because only one light was working consistently the whole time we needed it. I don't know how reusable it will be because of this. I wish they would come up with a similar product that's a lot more sturdy. Will add a video review later.

(More customer reviews)When you receive the box, the first impressive thing is how small the unit is. I was actually thinking that there was no way it would produce enough light. Don't be deceived. It produces plenty of light and cool effects. I wish there was a separate switch that would allow for adjustments on the strobe effect, but this is a great product for the price.

American DJ Micro Galaxian Laser Special Effects Lighting Review

(More customer reviews)This is the American DJ Micro Galaxian red & green laser. It is the smaller version of the Galaxian laser with the same laser power output, but a smaller beam spread. It is a compact well built unit with a power switch on the back and a small fan to keep it cool. The small power cord plugs into the back of the unit and has a transformer block on the end of the cord. It comes with a remote that works great, but has an antenna to pull up if needed, which seems like old technology. The remote has 4 buttons which allows you to select auto/sound mode, blackout, color and direction of rotation. When going through the color modes you can select red, green, red/green together or red/green changing and flashing. You can select auto mode or sound mode so it will go with the music. There is also a speed control knob on the back of the laser to have the dots stop completely, move very fast or slow. The darker the room the better, but you can easily see it in any room with the lights on. I am very pleased with it. I havent tried it with fog but I know it would look great since it has 200 beams. It will work great for any DJ to use on the dancefloor, wall or ceiling. This is a great buy under $100.
PROS: It is small, bright, well built and works great. It has a remote to control it.
CONS: Transformer on cord and antenna on remote.

(More customer reviews)These are pretty cheaply made, although they are also pretty cheaply sold. The steel is fairly heavy, at least, but the threading for the clamping rod is sloppy and not particularly secure. I don't like how they work and have been happier with other solutions.

Eliminator Lighting Roto Saucer - E-113 Review

(More customer reviews)I used this recently for my wedding reception/house party and was very pleased with the results. We suspended the light from an American DJ stand with crossbar and placed it in the corner of the room. When the light would first kick on, it had a slight 'hitch' in its giddyup. But after a second or two of getting going, it would spin consistently, shining different-colored beams of lights all the way around our large family room, rotating and wobbling up and down as it went.
There are two components to the motion - rotation around its axis and a 'wobble' that projects the lights slightly higher and slightly lower as they move about the rotation. This can make it a little bit tricky to make sure you've got all the cords and other items 'clear' of the unit's motion since the 'wobble' can put the light into contact with items that are not necessarilly touching it when the unit is still.
The unit has a 10 minute duty cycle, per the documentation that accompanied it. So, if you are worried about that, make sure you plan accordingly. I bought an American DJ Light Saver unit and dialed it in to switch between units about every 8 minutes. This worked very well.
One night before our wedding, just for kicks, we turned the lights on and left our blinds open before heading to the neighbor's house for a backyard BBQ. When the Chauvet Mini-Line Dancer was on, you couldn't really see anything special from the neighbor's yard. But every 8 minutes, when the Eliminator Lighting Roto Saucer turned on, you could see little dots of light shining on the neighbors' houses in two directions! Pretty impressive for such a small package.
