Amazon and Woodwind and Brasswind both handled the return very well and issued a full refund.

(More customer reviews)What a toy for kids! It looks like a toy and functions like one, too. Useless! It's not sensitive. You've got to kiss it to make your voice heard thru amplifiers even if you tune the mike volume to max. And your voice doesn't mix in well with the instrumental either. It's cheap, indeed, but why waste $50(shipping included) on a piece of garbage? If I need a good mike, I'd have to spend more money anyway.
This $50 is just money lost.

(More customer reviews)All vocopro Products that I have owned have been returned almost immediately because they don't work at all! I got a Vocopro as a gift for my birthday and it didn't work at all (it was the only name brand carried at the local retailer at the time). I had to return 4 of them and finally the retailer has stopped carrying it. Good Riddance! I'm going to take back the latest one and just get my money back.... The manager of the place said that these get returned at a very hight percentage! A guy was on the phone upset because his didn't work while I was processing the return/exchange. I'm going to order one on the amazon website that gets decent reviews.

You can't hear the singer for the music volume, and all attempts to follow the directions and turn up the mic volume have failed. I have been hospitalized due to a surgery and have not been able to pursue this further.

(More customer reviews)I purchased this Karaoke machine specifically because of the iPod docking feature. Once I received it, I found out it is only compatible with iPod Nano 2nd Generation, not the newer iPod Nano (which I will be receiving soon.) Also, the included microphone volume is so low, even when the volume is set the highest it will go, you can barely hear the vocalist over the music. We had to purchase our own better quality microphone to use with it. I would not purchase this again if I had the option.

However, re ease of use -- if you are planning to perform a one person show you'd be better off getting a system with number buttons on the machine. I.e., if you need to play #8, you push #8.
