(More customer reviews)I really did agree about the quality of this preamp, I connected pair of Audio-Technica ATR97 Omnidirectional Condenser and it did power them adequately even better quality than the noisy one on creative X-Fi sound card.

This preamp features stellar phono specs and performance, then adds on top of that the ability to also accept two microphones, either electret (condensor) or dynamic, to allow stereo live recording. These mike inputs are MUCH better than the ones found on most PC sound cards, because not only do they provide a superior signal-to-noise ratio, they work properly with dynamic mikes and musical instrument pickups which do not require a bias voltage (sound card mike inputs generally will not work properly with these, resulting in very poor reproduction).
