(More customer reviews)If you're looking for a quality pre-amp for a reasonable price, you've gotta check out this Stereo Tube Pre-Amp from PreSonus. I use it with the C-1 large condenser mic from Studio Projects and another AKG large condenser mic. The warmth and clarity that is added by the pre-amp is amazing. Sure, you could spend a few thousand on a high end pre-amp, but that's why you go into the studio right?? I mainly use this for songwriting and demo type recordings. When I'm writing or creating a new arrangement for a song, I usually just record the trax on the go with my MacBook or in my garage on my iMac. It still gives quality and clarity which make for great sounding tracks and gives me a lot of usable material to work with throughout the recording process. I highly recommend this unit for anyone with a home or mobile studio.
