Pyle boasts this amplifier as having "1100 watts X 2 channels" or total power of 2200 watts. If you read the user manual (the only place I could find detailed specifications not in any advertisement)as they do with most of their products. The true rms output of this amplifier is 130 watts @ 4 ohms and 100 watts @ 8 ohms. The advertised output of 1100 watts is misleading and deceptive in my opinion. I am very disappointed in the very poor output level from this amplifier. I also had trouble with the rack mounting holes being about 1/16 inch too close together and had to angle and almost crossthread the screws to install it. The fan is much noisier than my Behringer ep2500 amp (which by the way is advertised as 2400 watts and has an 8 ohm rms power output of 350 watts)I just don't understand where Pyle gets it's "2200" watt rating from this amp. Anyone need a cheap boat anchor?
