(More customer reviews)I went to CompUSA intending to buy the MTV music generator because I wanted to get started in writing my own techno music and I needed something inexpensive. Well, needless to say, I didn't buy it. I came out of the store with Techno Ejay and I have never regretted the $40 I paid for it! This is an awesome, easy to use program that has many worthy features. I was skeptical about just how good my music could be using a software program - but it was easy to use and very fun to play with. I can write a great sounding song in under 2 hours and then, export it as a wav file and burn my own album! Awesome! And the best part is, if you get tired of the massive 3,000 sound collection, you can import your own wav files! I recommend this product to anyone who wants to be a techno music composer, but can't afford expensive mixing equipment and synthesizers. I recommend buying Data Becker's 10,000 sound clips if you want more wav files to use with Techno Ejay.

Heil PL-2T Silent Professional Microphone Boom Review

(More customer reviews)An item such as this seems as if it would be a luxury purchase for a non-professional, but I've found it to be a necessity in preparing my podcasts. My desk quickly gets filled with all the items and equipment for the cast -- mixer, interface, computer, notes, etc. -- and the PL2T relieves you of the worry of where to fit in a mic stand. Its precise placement and steadiness allows you to adjust the mic exactly as you need.j Then, when you don't need it, it simply swings to one side and keeps the mic out of the way for the next time.
So far I've used two different mics with it, both with fine results. The first mic required the use of the counterweight, which attached easily.
I'm giving this review less than 5 stars only because the plastic covers that fit over the cord channels tend to pop off, but that's no major concern.

The sound it's very similar like upa 10 from Meyer sound but less weight.
I just order another pair of this babes!

KORG 2 CH MIXER WITH KAOSS PAD Review

(More customer reviews)I actually chose the 2 channel over the 4 channel because I preferred the layout with the Kaoss Pad directly between the channel EQ's. The Kaoss Pad inside is almost identical to the Mini KP except it features a third memory bank. You can read reviews on the Mini KP for more info but I'll tell you having this mixer makes me want to buy a Mini KP so I can take these effects with me on the road without lugging around my mixer.
Its cool that they have the different types of EQ's to select although I find myself only using "Isolator" mode because it offers full db kills. Having full kills makes a world of difference when it comes to blending dance music. Although the last mixer I had was nowhere close to full db kills and I felt it made me a better beat matcher because it was harder to mix on. Going to this mixer I immediately noticed how easier it was and how much better my mixing sounded. So for a beginner I would almost suggest they practice on one of the other EQ modes and save the "Isolator" mode for recordings and live performances.
The cross-fader is very smooth and ready for some serious scratching. I'd say there are two cons for turntablists though. NO reverse switch on the cross fader and the Line Faders aren't nearly as smooth as the cross fader. Not deal breakers for me but a few features some turntablists can't live without.
I also love the overall build and quality of this product. The top part is a nice glossy-type finish, but the corners are nice and rugged for protection. It also has a nice, clear, full sound. Everything I'd expect from a newer 24 bit mixer. I'd say the only con here is the EQ knobs could maybe be a little bigger and feel more durable. But the spacing between knobs is fine and I like the way they click at 0db.
Overall.......Extremely satisfied

(More customer reviews)They sound fantastic and ear fatigue is nonexistent. I use the RP12 sub for mixing hip hop and dance music. They can do without but for me I like the extra low end sometimes. I mix many genres of music and they achieve a very detailed and articulate voicing that translates into stellar mixes.

(More customer reviews)I purchased this VocoPro performance unit in 2003 (ASIN: B0002E50VI / possibly aka: Twister II) at a local music store in 2003. The sound quality is excellent. An external speaker can be plugged into the back of the unit to expand the sound or you can use the audio-out ports in the back to add a receiver or other unit to add even more speakers. The digital key changer is an awesome attribute along with the reverb (echo) enhancement feature. You can put a CD/CDG in the player and sing along with it while recording it onto a cassette tape. This makes a great first time demo without having to spend a lot of money in a professional recording studio. This quick homemade demo will let others help you in the decision to move forward with the increased investment of creating a professional demo.
I used this VocoPro many times to perform at weddings, birthdays, and banquets. I also use this machine to patch into our Church's PA system if I need to change the key of a song I might be singing for the Ministry In Music segment of our Sabbath Day Service. I would highly recommend this VocoPro performance system for any of the above-mentioned activities.
